Tilt & Turn Windows

Generally Tilt and Turn windows are suited for modern houses or offices. At first glance the system seems complicated but although sophisticated is actually very simple.

Available in PVCu, powder coated aluminium and timber, the Tilt and Turn mechanism enables the window to be opened inwards, hinged at the bottom and to the side.

When opened inward at the top (hinged at the bottom) the window boasts excellent, draught free ventilation. When opened inward at the side (hinged at the side), the window can be easily and safely cleaned. Another benefit when opened from the side is its effective use as a fire escape.

One of the main selling points of the tilt and turn system is the size of the sashes can be larger than just about any other style of window. Two tilt and Turn windows together can create really large openings, this is particularly popular on conservatories.

Boasting excellent thermal insulation values when combined with soft coat glass, like all our windows, all current regulations are met for thermal efficiency. The advanced locking mechanisms provide peace of mind even when the window is in the open tilt position.

If you're looking for style of window with a large glass area then one of our Tilt and Turn range may provide the solution.
