Product Overview 

Alitherm 700 offers balanced and efficient ventilation options, whether for side or top-hung casements or top swing reversible windows. It’s versatile enough for curtain wall facades in low and high-rise commercial buildings, fitting both new constructions and replacement projects.
Using Smart’s polyamide thermal break technology, Alitherm 700 reduces thermal transmittance and enhances U-values, contributing to energy efficiency. Available in various finishes like metallic, dual colour, and Smart’s Sensations textured coatings, it combines functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Product Features 

The system includes internally beaded vents suitable for cockspur or shoot-bolt locking, ensuring robust security. It is compatible with chain-operators for manual or automated climate control systems. Smoke ventilation functionality will be added soon, broadening its use in commercial applications.

With British Standard Kitemark certification, it complies with Document L 2010 and achieves an A-rating for energy efficiency.

Design and Engineering

Alitherm 700’s design includes a polyamide thermal break, significantly improving thermal performance and reducing energy costs. Its robust aluminium-polyamide construction ensures long-lasting durability, making it ideal for various commercial buildings.

The system is available in a wide range of colours and finishes to suit any architectural style, including single colours, dual colours, metallics and textured finishes. Also available are Smart Systems Alchemy and Sensations range of colours.

Security and Energy Efficiency

Security and energy efficiency are key features of Alitherm 700. Its internal beading and advanced multipoint locking mechanisms, with reliable and durable locking handles, ensure high levels of protection. The thermal break technology delivers superior energy efficiency using double or triple glazing with a low centre-pane figure. With a U-value of 1.4W/m²K (when used with the correct glass), it exceeds energy performance standards.

Fully compliant with BS 6375-1:2009, BS 7950:1997, and BS 4873 standards, Alitherm 700 meets all necessary performance and safety requirements for commercial buildings.
