With a construction and overall design, suited to public buildings and those premises with heavy flow through the door set, Schüco ADS90 aluminium commercial and front doors are reliable, secure, easy to use and provide a full range of options for building users.  With low threshold as standard, these doors provide the right accessibility for wheelchair users and to avoid trip hazards through public door sets. 

For projects requiring larger door sets, Schüco ADS70 HD doors provide the ideal solutions with an even sturdier construction. These are designed for buildings with even higher numbers of people using the doors, such as supermarkets, department stores, theatres, schools, hospitals, and office buildings.

Product Features

Schüco ADS90 doors boast energy efficiency thanks to superior insulation. With expanded insulation zones, foam-filled insulation bars, and continuous centre gaskets, these doors offer excellent thermal performance. Sizes of door leaves are also impressive, up to 1400mm wide and 2500mm tall, supporting up to 200kg.  Hardware options are extensive, from main locks to access control, fire-exit devices, magnetic locks, and the general range of commercial door hardware.  

Schüco ADS70 HD doors feature a profile depth of 70mm, accommodating glazing thicknesses from 6-45mm. Tested to burglar resistance up to RC3 (WK3), they are also designed high-security applications.  The HD model goes even taller at 3000mm high. 

Design and Engineering

Schüco ADS90 doors are designed for inward or outward opening, with standard or low thresholds.  High performance glass or insulated panels achieve a variety of low U-Values, to help comply with current Building Regulations. Designed with today’s building styles and construction methods in mind, modern aesthetics are at the forefront of the door design. 

Security and Energy Efficiency

Schüco ADS90 doors incorporate advanced security features such as anti-tamper screws, enclosed anti-tamper glazing, security tape, and a patent-pending glass lock. These innovations make the ADS90 system one of the UK’s most secure aluminium lantern roofs. In conjunction with the required high security lock, they are one of the most secure commercial and front entrance doors on the market.   The high-security ridge end and optional Secured by Design (SBD) upgrade add an extra layer of defence against intruders.

Schüco ADS70 HD doors provide U-values as low as 0.9 W/m²K and tested for air permeability (Class 2), water tightness (Class 5A), and wind resistance (Class C3/B3), meaning suitability in all types of city centre, exposed or coastal environments.
